LABEL SOFTWARE - MANAGE LAYOUTS
LP5 GLM LABEL PROCESSOR
EASY AND EFFICIENT MANAGEMENT OF PRINT LAYOUTS
With the LP5 GLM LabelProcessor you can manage your label layouts easily and efficiently. Using the print order number (production order number), the LabelProcessor manages all the necessary information - regardless of whether it is batch-constant, variable or machine-specific data, and sends the finished label print layout to the printing system.
Order-related print layout
The LP5 LabelProcessor searches for the order-related graphic and the associated xml file in the folder directory using the print order number (production order number).

Variable data and coordinates
In addition to variable data, the xml file can also contain position coordinates. Based on this, data can be printed in any position on the label.
The batch-constant print information is filled out as a graphic in the print layout - fields for variable data, such as net quantity, gross weight or other machine-specific data, remain free. The variable data is sent from the machine to the LP5 LabelProcessor.

With monochrome printing, all data is printed on a pre-printed label.

Submitting the print job
The LP5 LabelProcessor fills the required fields with the machine-specific data and sends the
Print job to the printer.

Order-related print layout
In contrast to single-color printing, there are two png files in the directory folder for multi-color printing - one png file for each printing color. Both color files are printed on the label.

In the case of multi-colored printing, all graphic data are merged. Here, too, the xml file contains all variable data and coordinates.

The LabelsPlatform5 LabelProcessor is one of the many workflow features of the LabelsPlatform5 modules.
The LP5 LabelProcessor is installed on the user interface of the labeller (under MS Windows 10 IoT),
to receive and manage variable label data from multiple sources, such as:
