LABELS CONTROL FROM EXTERNAL PERIPHERALS
The label and form layouts created in the LP5 label editor are loaded into the printer memory (online or via data carrier) and are now available to be requested either by the user or by external peripherals (PLC, ERP, scales or test computers) .
For the call, the variables defined in the layout can also be filled with external content.
LP5 Format Manager works in combination with Intermec Standard , Zebra Standard , CAB Standard , Intermec Multi-Boot and Videojet CL standard label printers.
LP5 format manager for Intermec standard label printers
The LP5 format manager Intermec Standard is the general solution for storing label formats in Intermec printers. These formats can then be selected via the printer keyboard, the serial interface or I / O signals, filled with variable process data and printed.
Up to 20 masks are possible in the printer, in connection with optionally stored text databases and the variable serial data, the printer can be transformed into a PC-less printing station that fits perfectly into the production process.

With Zebra printers it is also possible to store label formats directly in the printer. The user can then call this up with a few printer commands via the serial interface or network connection in the printer.
Here, too, when calling up the format, the user can write variable content in text /
Replace barcode fields, and in this way print out extensive labels with individually variable data as quickly as possible.

LP5 format manager Intermec MultiBoot label printer
This format manager can be used with Intermec printers. Its specialty: any number of label formats can be saved, and each format is given its own call-up name. If the user calls up such a name on the printer panel, the printer restarts and then activates the selected label.
The "Multi-Boot" format manager is used in production lines in which the user calls up a label format directly on the printer (without a PC), whereby more than 20 label formats can be stored in the printer, and there are no other size limits.

LP5 format manager for Videojet CL standard label printer
Videojet / Wolke CL printers can store label formats in the internal Clarity memory or on optional storage media administer. The formats can be called up with special format commands or directly on the printer panel.
The LP5 format manager Videojet CL Standard can be used to generate such formats.
The basic functionality (select labels, save / load lists) is identical to the Zebra Standard format manager .

LP5 format manager for CAB standard label printers
CAB printers can manage label formats in the internal flash memory or on optional storage media (PCMCIA card, compact flash card, USB stick / hard drive). The formats can be called up with special format commands or directly on the printer panel.
The LP5 format manager CAB standard can be used to generate such formats. The basic functionality (select labels, save / load lists) is identical to the Zebra Standard format manager .
